How Guideline Calculation Works
X-height = Nib width x Nib width ratio
From the nib width and script-specific ratio, we calculate x-height. Ascender and descender heights are proportional to x-height (script-dependent). Guidelines repeat at the line advance interval (ascender + x-height + descender + interline gap).
